Weekly Horn Student pursues space aspirationsThanks to a new $5,000 scholarship, that dream has gotten a little closer. On Monday, Nov. 17, Kobrick and six other CU-Boulder students received scholarships from the Colorado chapter of the Achievement Rewards for College Students Foundation.Kobrick studies the abrasive nature of lunar dust with the aim to help scientists design better, safer and more durable spacesuits and spacecraft.
